PA Patriot Coalition members overwhelmingly support The Save America Act.
PENNSYLVANIA — The Save America Act just passed the House. As Pennsylvanians gear up for another election cycle, new legislation in Washington aims to ensure that our elections are secure. Last week, we polled our members to gauge their support. Virtually every group that responded expressed support for the following statement:
Sen. Mike Lee and Rep. Chip Roy have reintroduced the SAVE Act as the SAVE America Act, which ensures that only US citizens are registered for and voting in federal elections. Companion bills are filed in both chambers. The House bill has passed. The senate bill (S.3752) sits with senator John Thune. Following are provisions of the Act:
- Proof of U.S. Citizenship for Voter Registration
- Photo ID Requirement to Vote
- Maintenance and Purging of Voter Rolls
- State Implementation Obligations
- Coordination with Federal Data
These measures are also broadly supported by Democrat and Republican voters across all demographics. Without these kinds of common sense reforms, Americans cannot have confidence in the outcome of their elections.
The members of the PA Patriot Coalition strongly support The SAVE America Act and encourage ALL citizens to:
- call the holdouts to cosponsor and demand a vote.
- call senator Thune and demand that he bring it to a vote. You can also weigh in via social media on his Facebook and X accounts.
